Michael Grimm wouldn't commit to immigration reform. Now, we need his sucessor to take a stand.
On May 5, Republican Daniel Donovan and Democrat Vincent Gentile will be on the ballot to take over Grimm's seat representing New York's 11th District in Congress.
I am signing this petition to tell the respective candidates that immigration reform is one of the most important issue our country is facing. The status quo is hurting our economy and it's hurting our families.
More than 28 percent of the 728,000 people in District 11 are foreign-born, and they all deserve a representative in Congress who will commit to fixing a broken system.
This petition will be sent to the candidates from both parties to tell them we demand action on immigration.
