In 2010, the Obama Administration gave 50,000 Haitian refugees the opportunity to seek shelter and security in our country after their homes were ravaged by a violent earthquake. In the intervening seven years, these refugees have made our country their own and have built families and established American identities. They are now on the verge of being deported en masse. To force these people to leave their home would be an absolute travesty. We can do our part to stop the Trump Administration from making another disastrous and inhumane decision. Add your name below, voice your support for Haitian refugees and urge our government to do the right thing.
P.S. Help us spread the word - share this petition with five friends who, like you, are staunch in their belief that our government has a responsibility to protect these people and that deporting them is ABSOLUTELY un-American.
