The EB-5 program is a small but important part of immigration in this country. To receive a EB-5 visa, that person must commit one million dollars in starting or investing in a business that creates local jobs, or $500,000 in an area with high unemployment.
This program has brought tens of millions of dollars and thousands of jobs into the U.S. economy. But on September 30th, the program is set to expire.
While some elected officials are committed to discrimination and impractical solutions to our broken immigration process, these investors are jumping through hoops to bring capital and jobs to America. This program is being overshadowed by other issues, but our representatives need to know how important it is!
